2017 is over. I’m sure you heard about it. It was a whole thing. But before I scoot ahead into 2018, I would like share my a few of my favorite things.*


*Disclaimer: These lists are not all-inclusive nor are they complete. I have not seen/read everything which is shocking, I know. I am not great at remembering what I have seen/read and am worse at ranking what I do remember. Thus, I present the incomplete list of things I liked in 2017.


Things I watched that I liked:

  • Moana
  • Star Wars: The Last Jedi
  • Stranger Things
  • Lady Bird
  • Wonder Woman
  • The Encounter – this was my first one-man show and it was unbelievably incredible



  • Melodrama by Lorde
  • Harry Styles by Harry Styles
  • Milk-Eyed Mender by Joanna Newsom (13 years late on this one but what a joy to my ears)
  • Star Wars soundtracks
  • Here by Alicia Keys
  • Something to Ruin by Ages and Ages
  • Most things Sia makes
  • All things Josh Garrels makes

  • Improv classes

  • Cleaning my room (tried & failed)
  • Waking up at 2 am all summer for work (tried & succeeded)
